Guerneville Lodging

The small town of Guerneville, California is situated in the east central portion of Sonoma County and is home to numerous vacation opportunities.  It is nestled in the heart of wine country as well and is second only to Napa County for its production of some of the most sought after wines in the world.  You want to be sure and sample some of these fine wines by taking any of the numerous wineries located nearby.  Make sure that you put the Korbel Winery on your itinerary as this one has been in operation since 1882.

Guerneville is also the gateway to some of the finest outdoor vacation opportunities as well.  There are self-guided nature walks through the Armstrong Woods in the redwood forest and the Russian River is an excellent venue for canoe or kayak trips as well as a great fishery.  If it’s state parks that you love explore, you have quite a choice ahead of you as Sonoma County is home to 11 of California’s State Parks, everyone with its own special allure and great destinations for a day’s outing with the family.

Naturally, if you are planning a vacation in the area, you will no doubt be searching through a number of lodging choices available in town and there are plenty of options.  Guerneville hotels are few in number, but all of them are decent places to stay while vacationing in the Sonoma County region.  In addition to the hotels, other Guerneville lodging includes inns or resorts for those who like being pampered while they are on vacation.

If it is something a little cozier that you are looking for, Guerneville is also home to several B&B’s (Bed and Breakfast’s).  Between the Guerneville hotels, inns, resorts, and the B&B’s, there is something for everyone.  The area is the home of numerous lodging opportunities from the adventurous to the romantic.  Suffice it to say, whatever your lodging preference is, Guerneville has lodging options that will compliment your visit to the area.

If it is the great outdoors and spending a handful of days along the Russian River that you crave, there are 7 different campgrounds and 3 RV parks situated in Guerneville and the nearby towns of Duncan Mills and Forestville.  Naturally, the RV parks have a few more amenities to offer, especially if you enjoy sleeping indoors while spending time outdoors.  All of these are in close proximity to the Russian River and all of the recreational activities that it offers the visitor.

Regardless of all of the above, if you really want to enjoy your stay in the Guerneville area, consider spending a week at Balalaika Guest Homes.  These two story structures can accommodate up to 8 vacationers quite comfortably.  Additionally, the homes feature 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a full kitchen, huge living room area, and other amenities sure to make your stay a rewarding experience.

Each of these Balalaika Guest Homes is nestled under stands of towering redwood trees.  And they are surprisingly affordable so there is no need to stay in one of the Guerneville Hotels or other lodging facilities.  We invite you to check out the floor plans of these guest homes here at our site.  You will quickly realize why we always ask “Why rent a room when you can rent an entire house for the same price?”
